Memorial Medical Clinic Carthage is pleased to announce the addition of Brock Stout, MSCMHC, LPC, to the Behavioral Health team. Stout is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned his Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Bellevue University and a PhD in Human Capital Development from the University of Southern Mississippi. Prior to his career in counseling, Stout gained experience as a university professor, product developer, entrepreneur, and human resource consultant. He also spent 17 years living abroad and has been a resident of Hancock County since 2008. His public research includes studies on the psychology of rural economic development.

Stout’s clinical interests include working with teens and adults facing imbalances and helping those whose stressors outweigh their resources. He specializes in treating trauma-induced depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and psychotic disorders. Stout enjoys studying the brain, anthropology, and hiking in his spare time. He is also passionate about encouraging people to explore and understand themselves more deeply.
