Otolaryngology is one of the oldest medical specialties in the United States.
Otolaryngologists, commonly referred to as ENTs, are physicians who treat patients with disorders of the ear, nose, throat (ENT), and other parts of the head and neck.
ENTs can treat diseases of the sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, and upper pharynx (mouth and throat), as well as structures of the neck and face.
