Julie is a Registered Dietitian with special interests in nutrition for children, breastfeeding mothers, pregnancy/fertility, and athletes. She has experience working in private practice and clinical settings, providing medical nutrition therapy for a variety of medical conditions and diseases, including diabetes, heart disease, obesity, malnutrition, and more. She also has experience working with athletes, from powerlifters to marathon runners. She is currently working towards her certification to become a Certified Lactation Counselor to better support new mothers within the community. Julie enjoys working in the teaching kitchen to provide nutrition education and hands-on skills that participants can use at home. She enjoys meal preparation/cooking and hopes to continue providing services that make it easier for those within our community to obtain nutrient-dense meals.

Personal Statement:

Julie chose to become a registered dietitian because of her passion for living a healthy lifestyle. She spent most of her childhood playing sports, and learned at an early age how impactful your nutrition is on performance and how your body functions every day. Through further education, that passion only continued to grow. She strongly believes in the power of nutrition and strives to never stop learning about how the human body can be healed through the foods we put into our body every day.
