MEMORIAL HOSPITAL RECEIVES 5-STAR RATING FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
August 6, 2024 Memorial Hospital

For the fifth consecutive year, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has honored Memorial Hospital in Carthage, Illinois, with a 5-star rating for patient satisfaction.

This 5-star designation is based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores. The CMS rating system places five stars at the highest rating.

“Our team’s dedication to delivering quality care is beyond compare,” stated Raigan Brown, Chief Nursing Officer at Memorial Hospital. “Achieving a 5-star rating is a significant honor, but to earn this award for five years in a row is extraordinary! This accolade reflects the passion and commitment our team brings to patient care. We will continue our pursuit of excellence to ensure the best outcomes for everyone who enters our facility.”

As a reminder, filling out an HCAHPS survey is crucial for hospitals aiming to achieve a 5-star rating. Having patients fill out these surveys not only aids in achieving a 5-star rating but also contributes to a culture of continuous improvement within the hospital, ensuring that patient experiences and satisfaction remain a priority.
