On November 13, Memorial Hospital will offer community health screenings in the Health and Wellness Conference Room located on the Memorial Hospital campus. These screenings will provide an excellent opportunity for residents to check in on critical aspects of their health. Screenings will include A1C, lipid panel, hearing, and vision tests at an affordable price of $25.
These screenings are available to the public, but participants must register and pay in advance. Due to limited availability, with only two spots open every 15 minutes and 18 spots available, early registration is encouraged. Participants should also note that fasting 10 to 12 hours prior to the lipid panel is required to ensure accurate results.
In recognition of National Diabetes Month in November, the A1c test, which measures blood sugar levels, will be especially important for those monitoring or who are concerned about diabetes. Memorial Hospital encourages the community to take advantage of this opportunity to gain valuable insights into their health, particularly with the increasing focus on diabetes awareness.
Interested individuals can register by visiting mhtlc.org or by calling 217-357-6540.
