Memorial Hospital, UnityPoint Health®, Quincy Medical Group Announce Plans to Collaborate on Regional Services

(CARTHAGE, Ill.) – Leaders at Memorial Hospital (MH), UnityPoint Health® and Quincy Medical Group (QMG) are pleased to announce that a non-binding agreement has been signed to explore the potential creation of a closer working relationship. The parties share a commitment to high quality standards while offering exceptional patient experience and look forward to further discussions about a potential relationship.
“The Memorial Hospital Board and Administrative Team have been evaluating the long term needs of our organization for several years as we strive to position ourselves to ensure the sustainability of healthcare in this region. A closer working relationship with UnityPoint Health and Quincy Medical Group will allow us to expand and strengthen the services we provide,” said Ada Bair, CEO of Memorial Hospital.

Formal discussions will start immediately. All parties will work to complete these discussions over the next several months to determine what the potential opportunities and next steps might be.
