Memorial Hospital and Hancock County Senior Services, employees gathered at the Smokin’ Gun Event Center to celebrate the years of service and certification achievements.
During an annual employee dinner 50 employees were recognized with a variety of awards. Those receiving recognition for 5 years of servicer were Cassidy Adams, Certified Medical Assistant; Vanessa Burch, LPN; Tracey Burgard, Family Nurse Practitioner; Monica Crim, Family Nurse Practitioner; Heidi De Luna, Lead med Tech; Taylor Dittmer, RN; Crystal Doyle, Universal Worker; Michelle Foulk, Medical Assistant; Linda Hardy, RN; Laurie Magee, Housekeeping; and Angela Sloca, RN House Supervisor. Recognized for 10 years of service were Sharon Banner, Pre-Service Specialist; Susette Goetz, Administrative Secretary; Todd Potter, IT Technician; Heather Ross, Licensed Professional Counselor; Darcy Swank, Reg. Respiratory Therapist; and Davey Voss, Family Nurse Practitioner. Recognized for 15 years of service were Carolyn Cole, Patient Acct. Specialist; and Dawn Wolfe, Universal Worker. Recognized for 20 years of service was Tom Bragg, Custodian. Recognized for 25 years of service were Shelly Fox, Executive Assistant; and Jeanne Leighty, Mammography Tech. Recognized for 40 years of service were Nancy Krekel, Cardiopulmonary Director, and Terri Twaddle Administrative Assistant to Marketing/Foundation and Volunteer Liaison.
Special honorees honored for completing education or receiving certifications were also celebrated they include Monica Akers for Registered Medical Assistant certification; Krista Carle for receiving her PhD in Nurse Practitioner and certification in Dermatology; Amanda Corrigan for becoming a Certified Coding Specialist, Beth Dorothy for passing the RN Boards; Kristen Doyle for passing the LPN Boards; Megan Doyle for passing the LPN Boards; Sheila Farris for becoming a Certified Medical Administrative Assitan; Stephanie Fitch for passing the LPN Boards; Joanne Fuller for becoming Certified Revenue Cycle Professional; Tashera Manicksingh for Medical Assistan, Bria Repplinger passer the RN Boards, Cara Sanderson passed RN Boards; and Sarah VanBrooker was Certified as Clinical Medical Assistant.
