Memorial Hospital Welcomes New Program and Employees to the Senior Life Solutions’ Evergreen Center
Memorial Hospital Senior Life Solutions’ Evergreen Center welcomes new team members. The Evergreen Center has provided behavioral health services to the region’s older adults for over 16 years. The Evergreen Center is excited to continue serving the older adults in the area through its new program model.
Memorial Hospital Senior Life Solutions’ Evergreen Center is an intensive outpatient group therapy program designed to meet the unique needs of individuals typically 65 and older, experiencing depression or anxiety related to life changes often associated with aging.
The program’s new staff includes Program Director Valerie Brown, RN, who is responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of program staff to ensure quality patient care and providing community education to create awareness of the program. Valerie has 25 years of experience as an RN, 20 of which include working in geriatrics.
Program Therapist Max Holmes, LSW, is responsible for providing therapeutic services for patients utilizing group, individual, and family therapy sessions. He focuses on quality patient care and the provision of services ordered by a physician.
Ashley Haynes, Office Patient Coordinator, is responsible for providing quality administrative and clerical services for the program staff and assisting patients with care needs. Ashley has a background in mental health, billing, clerical, and administrative services.
Medical Director, a board-certified psychiatrist, Dr. Prema Sanne. Dr. Sanne has over 16 years of experience in the mental health field. Dr. Sanne leads the care team to ensure that all Memorial Hospital Senior Life Solutions’ Evergreen Center patients receive quality care by evaluating the quality and appropriateness of diagnoses, services, and treatments for patients.
Anyone can refer a patient to the program, including a physician, family member, the patient, or another healthcare professional.
