Assistant Controller

B.S. Degree in Accounting and/or Finance required. 3 years plus experience preferred Proficient in all Mircosoft business applications a must.
Description

This individual will assist the Controller in directing the accounting functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining the organizations accounting principles, practices, and procedures. He/she will oversee the preparation and evaluations of budgets and other financial operating reports. The person who holds this position must be familiar with a variety of the accounting concepts, practices, and procedures and will be relied on to use their extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish financial goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

A few of the specific duties include:
Prepares bi-weekly payroll and all payroll tax reports

Assist with the preparation of month end and yearend financial reports.

 

Prepare regular and ad hoc financial analysis information

 

Assist with financial audits and cost report preparation

 

Prepares payroll information for annual budget process

 

Provide recommendations for procedural improvements

Description

This is a clinical practitioner who participates in providing patient care. He/she is able to implement and evaluate patient care specific to the age of the patient population served from newborn to the elderly. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. He/she demonstrated performance consistent with the mission, philosophy and goals of the unit and organization; remains flexible to changing system; is expected to demonstrate quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice; and treats staff, physicians, patients and families with consideration and respect. Acts as a patient advocate at all times. To assist the primary provider in all professional and clinical procedures. Clinical procedures shall include phlebotomy, performing EKG's, urinalysis, injections, and taking and recording patient vital signs.

Description

The Certified Nurse Assistant is responsible for providing personal care to the residents. Personal care includes assistance with meals, dressing, movement, and bathing.   • Prepare meal items as ordered or directed that are safe, nutritious, of appropriate temperature and according to therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work area and equipment. Completes assigned cleaning in a timely manner.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes and utensils.
  • Completes temperature checks and records on daily log sheet.
  • Plans and prepares entrees for cafeteria patrons and special events.

Nurse Care Coordinator

Description

The Care Coordinator is responsible for functioning in an expanded role to facilitate care through interdisciplinary collaboration and care coordination. Responsible for communicating with patients and caregivers to ensure improved care transitions, enhancing patient to provider communication to identify opportunities for care continuity, encouraging the patient’s self-management skills and understanding the healthcare system to guide and empower patients to participate in their own care plan.

  1. Help establish the Chronic Care Management/Patient-Centered Medical Home Programs.
  2. Continually assess and provide suggestions to improve Care Plans.
  3. Document all patient care interactions in Electronic Health Record.
  4. Must have superb time management skills.
  5. Continually assess and improve relationships with all healthcare resources.
  6. Must have superb assessment skills and be able to relay those to the healthcare provider in a professional manner.
  7. Be able to float from the hospital and the clinic to help with the coordination of care upon discharge.

OR/PACU Registerd Nurse

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed to practice nursing in the State of Illinois. Maintains a ACLS and BLS Certification. Minimum of 1 year experience Med/Surg preferred; previous OR experience preferred.
Description

RN would be required to work all areas of the department including Pre/Post OP, Intra OP, PACU Nursing.  RN would be required to take call rotating weekends and rotating weekdays.  Must have ability to respond in less than 30 minutes.

Knowledgeable in the duties of OR circulator.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  1. Obtains and records initial assessment and establishes priorities according to patient age, symptoms, psychological and spiritual needs.
  2. Reassesses patients systemically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
  3. Assesses and reassesses their patient’s level of pain, providing effective treatment and the necessary education for follow-up care.
  4. Maintains knowledge regarding telemetry and EKG interpretations.
  5. Makes comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluations of patient outcome; modifies the plan of care based on evaluations.
  6. Participates in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
  7. Implements and documents timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
  8. Utilizes infection control measures appropriately.
  9. Delegates unit work assignments appropriately to ensure completion of required patient care support activities.
  10. Coordinates team assignments and makes adjustments based on patient and unit needs; follows up on delegated patient care tasks for quality and completeness.
